My husband and I were happy we decided to stop in to this restaurant! We just moved from St. Louis, and have visited other well-known BBQ cities in the Midwest. We are very pleased to announce Smokin’ Gun BBQ is able to hold its own in the barbecue world! We were very satisfied with our meal, and highly recommend the smoked turkey as well as the ribs. The overall atmosphere is great, and the service was superb. it’s hard to find good customer service sometimes, but these guys know what it is. We will definitely be back, and will bring our friends and family.
The food here is amazing! I drive from Boise to Blackfoot regularly just to eat lunch here! The quality is amazing, the family friendly staff so courteous and the price for the food is unbeatable! If you want some of the best BBQ around, check out the Smokin Gun!

I leave a lot of reviews, and I honestly can’t remember the last time I gave a full five stars. This place deserves it. It’s a simple, no-frills BBQ joint—but the food is unreal. I’ve had food from their competitors, and this place absolutely blows the competition out of the water. My wife and I both ordered the Outlaw, and the brisket and bacon were excellent. The crunchy onion ring on the sandwich absolutely made it. Great prices, great food, and the kind of spot I wish every town in America had.

First time I ate here and I was pleasantly surprised! Other BBQ places have small portions, this place had large portions and the food was great! The lady serving us was very nice too. I hope to return soon.
This place was THE BOMB. The BBQ brisket and pulled pork was divine, and I particularly liked the cornbread hush puppies. Our doggies waited in the car and the owner (?) came out and gave us some leftover meat to give them as treats. That kind of friendly service is worth mentioning too. We will be coming here again—we live in Rigby and it was totally worth the drive. Thank you for an amazing lunch!
It's been incredibly hard finding a really good barbecue place since I left Texas. This is the first place in 15 years that thoroughly impressed me. Although they were out of brisket this day due to a big order that they had that morning, I did go ahead and have some pulled pork, some hush puppies, which I haven't had for years, and some coleslaw it was all so very very good. The folks that own the restaurant sweetest people I have met in a very long time. Clint kept me and my partner engaged and he's quite charming. His wife is a very sweet woman. They brought us over samples of their sausage, their ribs, and their turkey. The turkey,OMG, It was amazing! I would drive to Blackfoot just to go to this barbecue place. Hopefully next time they have brisket it's my favorite.
